Early Years Practitioner - BS16

About the Role

We are currently recruiting qualified nursery practitioners to work on a flexible supply basis across a range of nurseries in Bristol. This is an ideal opportunity for enthusiastic early years professionals seeking flexible working hours while gaining experience in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children’s development through safe, engaging, play-based activities
  • Adapt quickly to different nursery environments and routines
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment at all times
  • Work collaboratively with nursery teams to maintain high standards
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies
Requirements

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable

  • Experience supporting children with SEND
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
