Early Childhood Teaching (ECT) Instructor
To join our team and deliver high-quality instruction to students pursuing careers in the early years of education.

About the Role
As an ECT Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students enroled in Early Childhood Education and Care programs. You will deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and support learners in developing the skills and knowledge required to work effectively with young children in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 2–5), aligned with national curriculum standards.
  • Teach core subjects such as child development, safeguarding, play-based learning, health and safety, and inclusive practice.
  • Support students through practical placements, providing guidance and feedback on their performance.
  • Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
  • Stay current with developments in early years education and integrate best practices into teaching.

✅Essential Requirements
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).
  • Substantial experience working in early years settings.
  • Experience teaching or training in a further education or vocational setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and current sector standards.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
