This temporary Design Technology Technician job is based at a secondary school in South Yorkshire. The school has a very dedicated workforce that focusses on the educational outcomes of all students and aims to create a learning community that is both supportive and safe in an environment of mutual respect.

Your new role

• Support in preparing for practical lessons
• Maintain equipment
• Ensure a safe working environment for both staff and pupils
• Manage resources, including ordering, issuing and distributing stock
• Maintain and repair materials and equipment as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Ability to multitask
• Good problem-solving skills
• Inventory management
• Experience working with/using woodwork machinery is ESSENTIAL.
• Aware of COSHH health and safety regulations
• Motivated and proactive
• Passion for woodwork

This is a temporary role. An Enhanced DBS will be required for the role. If you don't have one, it can be processed. The school is looking for someone to start immediately.
