Domestic Assistant Required In Colchester

Domestic Assistant – Private Residence
Pay Rate - £20/hour

We are seeking a reliable, discreet, and proactive Household Assistant to support the Chairperson at his personal residence. This is a unique opportunity to work in a prestigious home environment with varied responsibilities and flexible hours.

Working Hours
  • Standard Schedule
    Monday & Thursday: 08:00 – 14:00 (12–20 hours/week)

  • Week Prior to Family’s Return:
    Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 14:00 (4 days)

  • When in Residence
    Monday–Friday: 08:00 – 14:00 (30 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities

  • General cleaning: kitchen, bins, dusting, study
  • Liaising with third-party suppliers and contractors
  • Working closely with the Chairperson to ensure smooth household operations
  • Restocking and re shelving amenities
  • Managing household budgets and petty cash
Requirements

  • Must have a clean DBS check
  • No criminal convictions
  • Comfortable working around other staff and contractors
  • Highly trustworthy, organised, and self-motivated
Employment Details
  • Pay Rate: £20/hour
  • Annual Leave: 20 days pro rata
