Your new role
As a Document Control specialist you will provide essential support across both document management and wider business support functions.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Inputting document data into registers, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
- Distributing the latest approved documents and drawings to appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable
- Maintaining files and control logs on various projects
- Assist with the organisation and management of documents and drawings in conjunction with naming and numbering conventions
- Assist with quality checking and auditing of document databases
- Undertaking general document control administration including document release and publishing, and handling queries
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- 4 GCSEs including English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication, organisation and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, use initiative and work both independently and as part of a team.
- A client‑focused, professional approach with strong attention to detail.
- Previous document control or construction industry experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
