Overview
A government regulator is looking to recruit an experienced Disclosure Investigator to join a team that leads and supports criminal justice interventions, gathering evidence and preparing case files to reduce, remove, or disrupt identified threats to public safety. You will play a critical role in progressing complex investigations, ensuring compliance with disclosure obligations, and supporting enforcement actions that make a tangible impact on consumer protection.
- Completing actions for specific investigations, including statement taking, interviewing, and collection, submission, and continuity of exhibits.
- Preparing disclosure schedules in accordance with CPIA (essential).
- Ability to prepare a disclosure strategy document (essential).
- Interpretation of data downloads from mobile devices (essential).
Qualification/Accreditations and experience required
- Professionalising Investigation Programme (PIP) Level 2 (essential).
- Driving licence (essential).
- Advanced Disclosure training and experience using Clue case management system (desirable).
- Must have experience and current exposure to serious and complex crime investigations and disclosure (essential).
- A current and sound understanding of relevant legislation including PACE, RIPA, and CPIA (essential).
- Experience of investigating serious and complex crime and submitting case files to the CPS (essential).
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, independently, and with flexibility to undertake work that may require travel and working away from home.
