Teacher of Design & Technology (Part-Time)
Terms 5 & 6 – Academic Year 2025/2026

3 days per week – Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

Hays Education are working with a well‑regarded secondary school located in East Sussex to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of Design & Technology for a part‑time role across Terms 5 and 6 of the 2025/2026 academic year.

Your new role
You will be teaching Design & Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 considered an advantage, though not essential. You will work three days per week—Tuesday, Thursday and Friday—and will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons that inspire students of all abilities.

What you’ll need to succeed
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge across the Design & Technology curriculum
Experience teaching KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable but not required)
A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour
The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
