Design & Technology Teacher (Immediate Start – Temp to Perm)
Location: Coventry/Warwickshire
Start Date: ASAP (Temporary until July, Permanent from September)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Temporary (ASAP – July) with view to Permanent from September

About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make an immediate impact, with the position transitioning into a permanent role from September.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality D&T lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students and fostering a creative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective Design & Technology lessons
  • Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the national curriculum
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Support student progress and attainment
  • Contribute to the wider school community

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Passion for education and student development
