We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our wonderful school and work with our exceptional pupils and staff. We are currently looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Deputy Headteacher to contribute substantially to the further development of Quorn Hall School.

As a Deputy Headteacher at Quorn Hall School you will support the Headteacher in strategic leadership and operational management of the school, ensuring the highest possible standards of education, care and outcomes for all pupils.
You will take a lead role in shaping the vision, culture and direction of the school, deputising for the Headteacher as required and acting as a key driver of continuous school improvement. We are looking for someone to champion high-quality teaching and learning across the school, ensuring that pedagogy and curriculum design meets the needs of SEMH pupils and aligns with the school’s vision.
Among other duties the successful candidate will take a lead role in the development, implementation and review of the School Development Plan and Self-Evaluation Framework, ensuring actions are evidence-based and lead to measurable improvements. You will lead and manage delegated whole-school responsibilities such as Curriculum Development, assessment, behaviour, attendance, staff development or other key improvements areas as identified in the School Development Plan.
The appointed person will:
● Have previous school leadership/management experience.
● Have a leadership qualification such as NPQSL/NPQH (desirable not essential)
● Be suitably qualified with experience of teaching within the primary and/or secondary phase.
● Have experience working with pupils who have behavioural difficulties, specifically SEMH and those with an ASD diagnosis.
● Have experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures related to pupil wellbeing and behaviour curriculum
● Have emotional resilience and a good sense of humour!
