DELIVERY MANAGER, PROJECT MANAGER, GOVERNMENT

Delivery Manager (70% Government Agile / GDS Delivery vs 30% Business Analysis)

Location: York or Bristol (3 days on site)

Duration: 6 months

IR35: In scope

Rate: £500-600 per day, umbrella

Clearance: BPSS (If you are SC clearable, this would be of benefit)

We seek an experienced Delivery Manager, preferably with Government / Public Sector / GDS experience, to work on a programme that has two streams: Accounts and Data Integration and Digi / BI / Architecture and Analytics.
This role would be to work in a Finance function with Analytics and Digital Enablement space.

Our client has Delivery and BAU streams. Later to be spinning up change stream. The role is to manage Delivery whilst bringing Finance Stakeholders (inexperienced in Digital and Delivery etc) along with you.

Managing ‘Digital Tickets’ through and looking at efficiencies and AI / Automation.
Experience between: Data / Digital / Public Sector Delivery
Delivery Management: Use Cases – Problems – Tickets – Reporting. Shaping this whilst engaging with senior stakeholders to set expectations / goals / realistic targets and performance.
The userbase is mostly financial with limited digital perspective.

Beneficial:

BI & Systems Expertise – Experience with analytics platforms (preferably Qlik / Oracle ERP / data governance).
Financial & Reporting Expertise – Strong knowledge of management accounting, forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting in a government finance context.
