DA Operations Analyst – 3 days in office – Up to £55,000

Your new Company
Your new job working as a Delegated Authority Operations Analyst means you will be working for a specialty (re)insurer at Lloyds that are responsible for underwriting a diverse range of property, Commercial and Specialty (re)insurance products from Cargo and Marine to Political Violence, Terror and War. Due to the extended growth of the team, a permanent position has opened as a DA Operations Analyst.

Your new role
Your new role as a DA Operations Analyst means that you will play a vital role in supporting the DA team with the successful implementation of the company’s Delegated Authority strategy. You will ensure underwriters are provided with the appropriate service aligned to market and the company’s framework as week as being responsible for Bordereaux management and EPI Monitoring assistance. You will prepare performance reporting and insights of the company’s delegated authority arrangements, including KPIs discussing with Underwriting teams. You will be responsible for supporting the co-ordination of audit planning and following up programme for coverholders, MGAs, service companies and DCAs. You will need to assist the Delegated Authority Team with any DA regulatory and Lloyd’s returns as required and actions arising from market thematic reviews are embedded within the company. You are expected to build and maintain a strong relationship with all business units, particularly underwriting teams.

What you’ll need to succeed
You must have 2 years’ experience working in a Delegated Authorities Administrative role within an insurance company, ideally Lloyd’s market, in order to succeed in securing this role. You must pay attention to detail, have excellent due diligence, hold investigative skills as well as having strong analytical, written and communicative skills. You will have excellent organisation and time management skills paired with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the business in a confident and professional manner. Your IT proficiency, especially in Excel, with experience of third-party Lloyd’s management systems, including DCOM, DAM, Lineage, Atlas, Crystal, DDM & LWR will aide you in securing this role.

You will be offered a competitive salary of up to £55,000 on an annual basis along with a hybrid working pattern that allows you to work 3 days a week in office and 2 days from home.
