Our client is a well-respected defendant firm who are currently recruiting for a Defendant Motor Injury Supervisor to join their Manchester or Birmingham offices.
Your new role
- Oversee and mentor a team of litigators handling motor injury claims.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with best practices and client service standards.
- Monitor team performance and support professional development.
- Manage a personal caseload of litigated motor injury claims, including complex and high-value cases.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documentation.
- Conduct negotiations and attend hearings where required.
- Maintain strong relationships with insurer clients and other stakeholders.
- Provide clear, strategic advice and timely updates on case progress.
- Ensure cases are progressed efficiently and in line with client expectations.
- Contribute to process improvements and implementation of best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ+)
- Strong background in defendant motor injury litigation, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Excellent knowledge of civil procedure and litigation processes.
- Minimum of 2 years MOJ/OIC portal experience (including non-qualified experience)
- Proven ability to manage a team and mentor junior colleagues.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
