Our client is a well-respected defendant firm who are currently recruiting for a Defendant Motor Injury Supervisor to join their Manchester or Birmingham offices.

Your new role

• Oversee and mentor a team of litigators handling motor injury claims.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with best practices and client service standards.
• Monitor team performance and support professional development.
• Manage a personal caseload of litigated motor injury claims, including complex and high-value cases.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documentation.
• Conduct negotiations and attend hearings where required.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurer clients and other stakeholders.
• Provide clear, strategic advice and timely updates on case progress.
• Ensure cases are progressed efficiently and in line with client expectations.
• Contribute to process improvements and implementation of best practices.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ+)
• Strong background in defendant motor injury litigation, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Excellent knowledge of civil procedure and litigation processes.
• Minimum of 2 years MOJ/OIC portal experience (including non-qualified experience)
• Proven ability to manage a team and mentor junior colleagues.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
