Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Modeller with strong SharePoint Online experience to support a secure, large-scale public‑sector programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, optimising, and governing data models that underpin SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions.

This is a remote‑based role (candidates must be based in the UK), operating inside IR35, and candidates must hold active SC clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data models supporting SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions.
Define and implement information architecture, metadata, content types, and taxonomy within SharePoint Online.
Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models
Support data governance, compliance, and security standards in line with public‑sector best practice
Collaborate with SharePoint, Power Platform, and M365 teams to ensure data consistency and integration
Document data models, standards, and design decisions clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Data Modeller within complex enterprise environments
Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, including:
Metadata design and content types
Information architecture and site structures
Permission models and governance

Experience working within Microsoft 365 environments
Ability to engage with stakeholders and clearly articulate data design decisions
Background working on secure or regulated programmes
Active SC Clearance (mandatory)

Desirable Experience

Experience with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
Knowledge of records management, retention, and compliance (e.g. Purview)
Public‑sector project experience (central government, local authority, NHS, policing)

Contract Details

Rate: £500–£550 per day
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Location: Remote (UK)
Clearance: Active SC required
