Data Architect (Entity Resolution & MDM) | AWS | SC & NPPV3 | AI/ML matching at scale | Remote

Your new company

A leading organisation is delivering a high-profile data transformation programme focused on large-scale entity resolution and matching capabilities. Working within a secure environment, you will join a specialist delivery team responsible for building robust data solutions that support critical operational decision-making. The programme is expected to continue beyond the initial phase, offering the potential for longer-term engagement.

Your new role

As a Data Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale entity resolution and master data management solutions. Working within an AWS cloud environment, you will define golden record models, develop matching and deduplication frameworks, and establish standards for data quality and governance.

You will be responsible for designing scalable matching architectures across multiple data sources, improving linkage accuracy and performance, and supporting AI and machine learning-led matching approaches where appropriate. Alongside technical delivery, you will engage regularly with senior stakeholders and contribute to programme documentation and governance activities.

This is predominantly a remote role, with approximately one on-site visit per month to the London area, with travel expenses covered.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive experience as a Data Architect within large-scale data programmes
  • Strong expertise in Entity Resolution, Record Linkage and Master Data Management
  • Experience designing matching, deduplication and clustering solutions across complex datasets
  • Knowledge of golden record models, survivorship rules and data standardisation frameworks
  • Experience measuring and optimising matching performance, including accuracy, precision, recall and scalability
  • Exposure to AI and Machine Learning techniques for data matching and entity resolution
  • Strong AWS cloud architecture experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Current SC Clearance and NPPV3 clearance.

What you'll get in return

  • Competitive day rate (depending on experience)
  • Initial 3–6 month contract with potential for extension
  • Predominantly remote working arrangement
  • Monthly travel to site with expenses covered
  • Opportunity to work on a highly visible and technically complex data programme
  • Fast onboarding process for suitable candidates
