Your new role

You will join a specialist pricing and commercial analytics team, taking ownership of the core data models and database infrastructure that underpin deal pricing, renewals and commercial decision-making.

This is a hands-on, technically focused role where you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing pricing models, ensuring data integrity and supporting ongoing commercial activity. You will act as a technical subject-matter expert within the team, providing guidance while working independently to manage complex datasets and workflows.

The position is centred on stability and continuity, ensuring critical data assets are maintained effectively during a period of team change.

What you'll need to succeed

• Advanced SQL skills, with experience managing large and complex data models

• Strong capability in Python and/or R for data analysis and modelling

• Background in data analytics or data engineering, ideally within commercial or pricing environments

• Proven ability to own, maintain and optimise data infrastructure independently

• Experience working with financial, commercial or pricing datasets

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver clear insights

• Experience in regulated environments, with a focus on data accuracy and auditability
