Your new company

We are currently working with a forward-thinking, highly reputable public sector organisation based in Glasgow. This organisation is a key player in the wider public sector landscape within the Glasgow area – and with huge plans to grow, they are looking to hire a contract Data Analyst to help them on their journey.

The particular project they require support for is an ERP project, with a focus on migration.

This is a 6-month contract - working on a hybrid basis (3 days per week on site in Glasgow).

Your new role

  • Collaborate with the organisation's departments to understand data requirements and reporting needs.
  • Assess, clean, and validate existing data for migration into the new ERP
  • Identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and data quality issues, providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Support data mapping activities between legacy systems and new SaaS platforms.
  • Assist in developing and executing data migration strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating migrated data and identifying discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and retention policies within a regulated environment.
