Damp & Timber Surveyor

About
With over 54 years of industry experience. We specialise in damp proofing, condensation control, timber preservation, basement waterproofing, and cellar conversions, working across both residential and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our team with an experienced Surveyor to lead client projects with confidence and expertise.

The Role
As a Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in our inspection and reporting services. You’ll represent us professionally on site, provide clear technical advice, and follow through to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed surveys on issues such as damp, timber decay, and structural/basement waterproofing
  • Produce clear, concise, and technically accurate reports to a high standard
  • Follow up with clients to discuss findings, respond to queries, and explain recommended solutions
  • Respond promptly to client calls and emails, providing professional advice and assistance
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of trust and repeat business
  • Collaborate with our admin, sales, and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry regulations
  • Keep up to date with the latest techniques, products, and standards in the industry

Requirements:
  • CSSW Qualification (Desirable)
  • Proven experience in damp, timber decay analysis, and structural waterproofing
  • Ability to write professional reports that are grammatically correct and technically accurate
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven client-facing experience with a high standard of customer care
  • Ability to organise your own schedule, manage multiple tasks, and prioritise effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
