A leading social housing provider in Cambridgeshire is seeking an experienced Damp and Mould Building Surveyor to join their team on a 6-month contract. You’ll play a vital role in improving living conditions for residents by identifying, assessing, and resolving damp and mould issues across a diverse housing stock.

Your new role

️ Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough inspections of properties affected by damp and mould.
• Diagnose root causes and recommend effective remedial solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports and specifications for works.
• Liaise with contractors, residents, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and housing standards.

What you'll need to succeed

✅ What You’ll Need
• Proven experience in building surveying, ideally within social housing.
• Strong knowledge of damp and mould diagnostics and remediation.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage your own workload and work independently.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) are desirable.
