Cyber Security Consultant / Cyber SME
Role Title: Cyber Security Consultant / Cyber SME
Hybrid – 90% home / 10% office
Office Base: Southeast London, occasional travel into office.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant / Cyber SME to provide specialist expertise across a range of security technologies and cloud environments. The successful candidate will support ongoing cyber initiatives, advise on best practices, and contribute to the deployment and optimisation of cyber security solutions across AWS and Azure.
Key Responsibilities

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant / Cyber SME to provide specialist expertise across a range of security technologies and cloud environments. The successful candidate will support ongoing cyber initiatives, advise on best practices, and contribute to the deployment and optimisation of cyber security solutions across AWS and Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise across core cyber security technologies and cloud platforms.
- Support and enhance vulnerability management capabilities across Azure and AWS.
- Contribute to the deployment, configuration, and improvement of key security tooling.
- Advise stakeholders on cyber risks, mitigation strategies, and best practices.
- Work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams to drive cyber security improvements.
- Offer expertise in IAM and PKI where required.
- Strong working knowledge of cyber security technologies, including:
- Splunk, Elastic, Microsoft Defender suite, O365 Security,
- Azure and AWS cloud security tooling.
- Proven experience in Vulnerability Management, including deployment across AWS and Azure.
- Familiarity with IAM and PKI principles and implementation.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with occasional travel to the London office.
