Hays are recruiting for a temporary to permanent Customer Support Expert. This role is based in Manchester City Centre. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service and support through various channels including phone, email, and live chat. You will play a key role in resolving queries efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our contact centre operations.

Your new role

  • Handle inbound customer enquiries via the phone and email with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
  • Provide accurate information and solutions in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Escalate complex issues with relevant departments while maintaining ownership of the customer experience.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions using CRM systems.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team KPIs including response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Identify trends in customer feedback and suggest improvements to processes and services.
  • Support new initiatives and contribute to a positive team culture.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a customer service or contact centre role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and contact centre technologies.
  • A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.

What you'll get in return

This role is an immediate starting temporary to permanent role, paying £15.55 including holiday pay.
