Your new company

Hays are working with a business based in Shrewsbury who are looking for a Customer Services Administrator on a temporary basis starting immediately. They are seeking an immediately available Customer Services Administrator to join our team and provide exceptional support to our customers and internal operations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Your new role

As a Customer Services Administrator, your role will involve:
  • Customer support: Handle inbound calls, emails, and live chat queries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Administration: Maintain accurate records, update customer databases, and process documentation.
  • Order management: Assist with processing orders, returns, and tracking deliveries.
  • Issue resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints, escalating when necessary.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with sales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth customer service operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly reports on customer service metrics and feedback

What you'll need to succeed

  • Immediate availability to start work.
  • Experience in customer service, administration, or office support roles.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • IT proficiency: Comfortable using MS Office, CRM systems, and email platforms.
  • Organisational ability: Able to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first attitude.
