Customer Services Administrator

Your new company

Hays are working with a company in Shrewsbury who are looking to recruit a Customer Services Administrator to act as the in-house sales frontline, processing and expediting sales orders, building strong customer relationships, and resolving queries promptly and professionally.

Your new role

As a Customer Services Administrator, your role will involve:
  • Process and expedite sales orders accurately using SAP.
  • Answer inbound calls within 6 seconds (3 rings) as part of the team.
  • Manage and resolve customer enquiries (product, pricing, delivery).
  • Liaise between customers, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and proactively contact customers as required.
  • Track deliveries, manage back orders, and communicate changes to customers.
  • Handle returns, credits, and urgent transport arrangements.
  • Create new customer accounts and update internal price lists.
  • Coordinate dispenser fittings, machine repairs, and Free on Loan agreements.
  • Complete commercial invoices for international dispatches.
  • Compile customer KPIs and send PODs when required.
  • Liaise with 3PL providers for deliveries and collections.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by management.

What you'll need to succeed

.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven customer service experience.
  • Secondary education with 4–5 GCSEs (A–C) or equivalent; NVQ or further education desirable.
