Are you a committed and adaptable Teacher looking for a long-term supply teaching job in Cullompton, Devon? We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join a supportive school community on a long-term basis, starting ASAP, for at least 6 weeks.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to gain valuable classroom experience in a well-regarded local school.
The Role
- Position: Supply Teacher (Primary or KS1/KS2 depending on experience)
- Location: Cullompton, Devon
- Start Date: Immediate (ASAP)
- Contract: Long-term supply (minimum 6 weeks)
- Hours: Full-time preferred (part-time may be considered)
- Pay: Competitive daily rate / paid to scale where applicable
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils
- Assess and track pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with school staff and support teams
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour management standards
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in a UK school setting (placements welcome for ECTs)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
