A leading financial institution is seeking a highly experienced professional to join its Loan Documentation and Securities Department. This role focuses on managing corporate and LMA-based loan documentation processes, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and enforceability across a range of commercial lending activities.

Your new role

• Prepare, review, and maintain loan documentation for bilateral and syndicated transactions, including facility agreements, security documents, and ancillary documentation.
• Ensure documentation complies with approved credit proposals and regulatory standards.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, and counterparties throughout the documentation lifecycle.
• Supervise junior staff and collaborate across departments to support loan growth and operational excellence.
• Monitor post-issue documentation, including subsequent conditions, consents, waivers, and release of securities.
• Participate in meetings and calls with clients and advisors to resolve documentation matters.
• Maintain procedural checklists and contribute to legal template updates.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in LMA documentation and commercial lending.
• Strong understanding of property-related lending and security perfection procedures.
• Proven ability to manage complex documentation processes and legal negotiations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and supervise team members effectively.
