Experienced Credit controller, permanent, Telford

Your new company

Hays are working exclusively with a successful business who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team in Telford


Your new role

In this role you will take full responsibility for the Credit control function and duties will include:

  • Proactively chasing debts via phone, letter and email and maintaining an excellent age debt profile
  • Resolving queries and problems
  • Posting and allocating cash
  • Month end processing
  • Produce and reconcile monthly cash and invoice audit trails.
  • Process all credit note application forms. Send credit notes to customers and perform monthly credit note analysis.
  • Create the weekly stop list and block or unblock all customer accounts that have not paid to the agreed terms to
  • Process the purchase ledger payment run


What you'll need to succeed

You should have extensive credit control experience and excellent communication skills in order to build good working relationships with clients and internally. Strong IT skills and a flexible and adaptable approach are essential as is the ability to work well within a team
