Temporary Credit Controller

Your new company

A dynamic and innovative advertising company, seeking a dedicated Temporary Credit Controller (3-4 month contract) to support its finance team. The company is committed to excellence and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the company's accounts receivable ledger.
  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email, and letter within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity.
  • Regularly review aged debt reports and take appropriate action to recover overdue amounts.
  • Liaise with customers to resolve payment issues and disputes.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly statements to customers.
  • Assist in the preparation of credit notes and adjustments.
  • Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to resolve queries and disputes.
  • Provide regular updates to the Finance Manager on the status of outstanding debts.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis related to credit control.


What you'll need to succeed
  • 5+ years experience in Credit Control
  • Experience with Sage is desirable, but similar systems will be considered.
  • Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
