Your new role
As Credit Controller, you’ll take ownership of your own customer ledger and play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow and strong customer relationships.
Key responsibilities:
- Chasing outstanding debt via phone and email
- Managing customer accounts and payment terms
- Allocating cash and processing payments accurately
- Resolving invoice and payment queries quickly
- Working closely with sales and internal teams
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Escalating ongoing issues when required
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to team success
- Using accounting systems including Sage 200
What you'll need to succeed
We’re looking for someone confident, organised and proactive who enjoys working in a busy environment.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Previous experience in credit control
- Strong communication and telephone skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Sage 200 experience desirable
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
