Temporary Credit Controller – Leeds | £25,000–£30,000


We’re working with a well-established, fast-growing distributor based in Leeds who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time, office-based role offering an immediate start and the chance to support a busy, close-knit team during a key period.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing your own ledger and chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
  • Liaising with credit insurers and following internal processes to minimise risk
  • Resolving queries quickly and maintaining strong relationships across the business
  • Allocating payments accurately using Sage 200
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Keeping detailed records and ensuring accounts are up-to-date
What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in credit control
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Tenacious, personable, and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration
  • Confident using Microsoft Office; Sage 200 experience is a bonus.
