Your new role
As Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of accounts and ensuring the financial health of the business. You’ll be responsible for:

• Contacting overdue accounts via phone, email, and letter
• Processing payments and reconciling accounts
• Resolving queries and liaising with third parties including solicitors and the Insolvency Service
• Preparing files for litigation when necessary
• Maximising cash flow and reducing bad debt
• Supporting with ad-hoc administrative tasks

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in credit control within a finance department
• Strong account reconciliation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
