Credit Controller required for a law firm in central Bristol

Your new role
You’ll be joining a respected Bristol law firm where accuracy, professionalism and relationship‑building matter just as much as cash collection. What you’ll be doing
  • Managing your own ledger of legal clients, ensuring timely payment and proactive follow‑up
  • Handling complex queries with diplomacy and confidence
  • Working closely with Partners, Fee Earners and the wider Finance team
  • Monitoring aged debt, preparing reports and driving improvements in cashflow
  • Supporting month‑end processes and contributing to continuous improvement

What you'll need to succeed
  • Solid experience as a Credit Controller within professional services (legal, consultancy, accountancy or similar)
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
  • A solutions‑focused, commercially aware mindset
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and professionalism
  • A calm, approachable style that builds trust quickly
