Your new company
HAYS are exclusively working with a global shopping company based in East London who are looking for fresh graduates or someone with around 1/2 years' accounts experience to join the Credit function as an assistant. This is a unique opportunity to break into a global firm at an entry level-which allows for long-term personal and professional development.
Your new role
You will be joining as a credit control assistant working in a team of four reporting to the Credit Manager. Unlike a traditional credit control role where you are chasing customers for payments directly to improve cash-flow, this role requires you to work closely with 3rd party agents who directly chase payments. Essentially, you are co-ordinating 3rd party agents to collect payments. You will be required to input and manipulate data on Microsoft Excel.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a personable individual that can work in a close-knit credit control team. Good communication skills are essential for this role and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
