Credit Control Assistant - City of London - Up to £35,000 - HYBRID

Your new role:
This role is designed to give you hands-on exposure to the financial workings of the insurance industry, laying the foundation for your progression into more senior positions. You’ll gain invaluable technical knowledge while contributing to the team’s success. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing cash allocation processes and ensuring accuracy across multiple accounts
- Managing the preparation and approval of invoices, with responsibility for reconciliations
- Partnering with Underwriters to prioritise Broker engagement and drive collections strategy
- Reviewing and finalising binders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual standards
- Providing input into process improvements and supporting wider finance projects
What you'll need to succeed:
To thrive in this role, you must currently be working within an insurance company in a credit control position, bringing with you a strong understanding of industry processes. Alongside this, you’ll demonstrate a clear ambition to accelerate your finance career, outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal), and exceptional attention to detail. A degree in finance or a related discipline will give you an added advantage.
