Are you looking to gain classroom experience before starting teacher training, or keen to support young people in their learning journey? Hays Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Coventry.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide support to students to help them achieve their learning objectives
- Gain valuable experience in a variety of school settings

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who are:
- Confident, adaptable, and able to engage with students aged 11–16
- Strong communicators with good organisational skills
- Able to manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Interested in pursuing a career in education (ideal for graduates or aspiring teachers)
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
