Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant – Sefton Secondary Schools
Daily Rate: £90 - £150
Location: Sefton, Merseyside
Contract Type: Flexible (Full-time / Part-time / Day-to-day supply)

Are you passionate about education and looking to make a difference in secondary schools across the Sefton area? Hays Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors and Teaching Assistants to support local schools with classroom cover and learning support.

Your new role

As a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant, you will:

Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work.
Support pupils with their learning, both in small groups and one-to-one.
Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leadership.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience working with young people in an educational or youth setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A genuine interest in supporting student development.
Flexibility and reliability to meet the needs of different schools
