Hays Education is working closely with secondary schools across Sheffield who are looking for enthusiastic, confident, and reliable Cover Supervisors to support their day‑to‑day staffing needs — with real potential for long‑term roles.
What You’ll Be Doing
- As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom when teachers are absent and ensure learning continues smoothly. Your role will include:
- Managing classes of 20+ students aged 11–16
- Delivering pre‑planned work (no planning or marking required!)
- Keeping students engaged, focused, and on track
- Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment
- This is classroom management at its core — perfect for someone who enjoys leading groups and keeping energy high and positive behaviour.
