Cover Supervisor – Long-term job to start ASAP

Location: Nottingham-based Secondary school
Salary: Competitive daily rate
Contract Type: Long-term supply

Hays Education is in partnership with a forward-thinking 11-16 secondary school that is seeking a confident and committed Cover Supervisor to join their team for the rest of the summer term. This school is passionate about maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour, and they’re looking for someone who can step into the classroom and make a meaningful impact from day one. What You’ll Be Doing:

Delivering pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects and year groups
Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe, respectful learning environment
Supporting students in their learning and encouraging engagement
Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and classroom activity

What We’re Looking For:

Recent experience working as a Supply Teacher or Cover Supervisor
Strong communication and classroom presence
A calm, adaptable approach to classroom management
Experience working with large groups of students / young people (in schools, youth work, coaching, etc.)
A genuine interest in education and student development
