We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join secondary schools in Newcastle. The role is flexible, with both full-time and part-time positions available, and long-term and day-to-day opportunities.

For these roles, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes when teachers are absent, ensuring that students stay on task and that the classroom is a safe and productive learning environment.

Your new role

- Delivering pre-prepared lessons to students
- Ensuring that students are engaged and on task
- Managing behaviour in line with school policies
- Reporting back to senior staff on any issues arising from the lesson

What you'll need to succeed

- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and control student behaviour
- Ability to follow lesson plans and instructions
- Flexibility to work on a long-term or day-to-day basis
- Ability to work in a team environment
