School Cover Supervisor

Hays Education is working closely with secondary schools across Blackpool who are looking for enthusiastic, confident, and reliable Cover Supervisors to support their day‑to‑day staffing needs — with real potential for long‑term roles.

Your new role

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom when teachers are absent and ensure learning continues smoothly. Your role will include:

Managing students aged 11–16
Delivering pre‑planned work (no planning or marking required!)
Keeping students engaged, focused, and on track
Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment
This is classroom management at its core — perfect for someone who enjoys leading groups and keeping energy high and positive behaviour.

What you'll need to succeed

If you have experience in any of the following within the last two years, we’d love to meet you:

Working with groups of young people aged 11–16
Sports coaching
Youth work or community leadership
School‑based support roles

If you’re confident, adaptable, and passionate about helping young people succeed, you’ll fit right in.
