Corporate Tax Senior Manager for a top firm in Devon

Your new role

  • Lead complex corporate tax advisory projects and coordinate input from specialist teams.
  • Oversee compliance work, review technical advice, and act as the main client and HMRC contact for strategic planning and risk management.
  • Mentor and coach managers and assistant managers, driving professional development and performance.
  • Support business development, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to technical knowledge-sharing through briefings and workshops.
  • Ensure high technical standards and compliance with firm procedures while promoting ESG initiatives and wellbeing.

What you'll need to succeed

  • CTA qualified (ACA, CA or ACCA an advantage) with significant post-qualification experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory.
  • Ability to interpret tax legislation and communicate complex advice clearly and simply.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
  • Interest in business development and networking to drive growth.
  • Experienced in coaching and developing others, fostering an inclusive team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software (Alphatax experience preferred).
