Unique Senior Corporate Tax Manager opportunity, built around you, with flexible working options

Your new company

This is not your typical accountancy firm. This is a professional services firm with a difference: putting people and relationships first. Straight-talking, innovative, and committed to creating a culture where people thrive, they have been voted one of the best large companies to work for in the UK, the UK’s largest accountancy B Corp Certified, and has won numerous awards for its workplace, including best in class for people & culture, wellbeing, and inclusion.
If you want to work somewhere that values individuality, bold thinking, and collaboration, this is the place for you.

Your new role

As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you’ll work closely with our Tax Partners and wider team to deliver specialist tax advisory and compliance services that help clients achieve their wider objectives. You’ll manage a portfolio of complex business tax clients and lead on advisory projects, including:
  • Reviewing tax returns, computations, and tax accounting disclosures
  • Signing out tax returns for complex clients independently
  • Advising on corporate tax planning, restructuring, and compliance
  • Supporting clients with HMRC enquiries and disputes
  • Collaborating with audit and advisory teams to provide a seamless service
  • Driving business development opportunities and contributing to firm-wide improvements
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members
However, if it's 100% compliance you're looking for, or 100% advisory, we're happy to consider applications for both.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive experience delivering corporate tax advisory and/or compliance work
  • Professional qualification (CTA, ACA, or equivalent)
  • Strong technical knowledge across corporate tax and shareholder taxes
  • Experience managing a variety of clients (large corporate groups, AIM-listed, private equity-backed, owner-managed businesses)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for developing others
  • A knack for removing jargon and delivering a “wow!” client experience

What you'll get in return

You will have the trust and autonomy to work in a way that suits you, with benefits including:

  • Flexible working – balance home, office, and client time
  • Generous holiday entitlement
  • Enhanced parental leave and pension scheme
  • No dress code – just “wear something!”
  • Award-winning wellbeing support for physical, mental, and financial health
  • Volunteering opportunities and social/sports clubs
  • A culture that celebrates individuality and inclusion
