Your new role

  • 4 days on site
  • Support senior colleagues with tasks such as preparing corporation tax computations and returns, as well as advisory work including capital allowances, R&D claims, tax due diligence, and transaction/restructuring reports
  • Assist in developing junior staff through day-to-day support and mentoring
  • Conduct tax technical research for wider projects
  • Handle various tax-related administrative tasks
  • Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives
  • Help maintain relationships with clients, HMRC, and other professional services firms to deliver excellent client service
  • Collaborate with audit teams on annual tax assignments

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a corporation tax compliance role
  • ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience and interest in studying for CTA
  • Strong, up-to-date technical knowledge
  • Fully conversant with compliance standards for tax and audit
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised with ability to manage time and meet deadlines
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships quickly
  • Professional and discreet in client care
  • Experience with Alphatax is desirable
