Your new role

As Corporate Tax Partner, you will take on a strategic leadership role within the Birmingham office and the wider Midlands region. You’ll head up both the Private Client and Corporate Tax teams locally, with a focus on transforming the teams into advisory-led units.

Your remit will include:
  • Leading corporate tax compliance and advisory services for a client base with turnovers ranging from £50m to £200m.
  • Advising across sectors including retail, manufacturing, hospitality, real estate, financial services, public sector, and not-for-profit.
  • Delivering bespoke tax advice including R&D, Patent Box, sales structuring, due diligence, MBOs, succession planning, and transfer pricing.
  • Collaborating with the national tax team and working closely with International and Large & Complex teams in London.
  • Mentoring and developing team capabilities for UK groups and listed entities.
  • Driving strategic growth and enhancing the firm’s advisory offering across the Midlands.

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Proven experience in corporate tax advisory and compliance at a senior level.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strategic vision and the drive to grow the firm’s advisory footprint.
  • Experience with complex tax matters.
