Your new role

• Oversee and review corporate tax returns for a wide range of owner‑managed businesses, SMEs and larger corporate groups.
• Provide technical guidance on corporate tax matters, ensuring high standards across the team.
• Manage workflow, resource planning and operational performance within the compliance team.
• Support clients through complex compliance issues, tax reviews and HMRC interactions.
• Work closely with partners to drive continuous improvement, enhance systems and support the wider tax strategy.
• Mentor, develop and lead tax team members, fostering a culture of quality and progression.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience in UK corporate tax compliance, ideally within a professional services or accountancy firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrable experience managing complex portfolios and leading teams
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills, with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice.
• A commercial and solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to improve processes and drive efficiency.
• CTA or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
