Your new role

As the Receptionist, you will be a key point of contact for clients, financial advisers, colleagues, and visitors—both in person and over the telephone.
Your main responsibility will be operating the central switchboard, promptly triaging and directing calls to the appropriate departments while maintaining a high standard of customer service. You will also manage in‑person visitor services, ensuring a warm, professional welcome and a well‑maintained reception area. In addition, you will provide general administrative support across the business.

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least 1 year’s experience in a switchboard or customer service role.
  • GCSEs (A–C) in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to manage high call volumes with professionalism and calm.
  • A reliable, punctual, and well‑presented approach.
Desirable:
  • Experience using switchboard/telephony systems.
  • Experience within financial services or other corporate environments.
