Corporate Finance Professionals – A chance to do meaningful work & achieve a work-life balance.

Make an Impact. Shape the Future. Reclaim Your Balance.

A major publicly owned organisation is seeking an experienced corporate finance professional ready for something different — something more meaningful, more balanced, and more aligned with long‑term purpose than the relentless transaction cycles of the private sector.
If you are craving impact without burnout, strategic work without chargeable hours, and genuinely flexible working at senior level, this is the rare opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

Why This Role Stands Out
✔ Do work that matters – Use your commercial and financial expertise to influence nationally significant projects and decisions. Your analysis won’t just drive shareholder value — it will shape outcomes that benefit society.
✔ Escape the corporate treadmill – No more 80‑hour weeks, endless transactions or last‑minute deal pressures. This is thoughtful, complex, strategic work where quality is valued over speed.
✔ Flexibility you can actually rely on – Whether you want full‑time, part‑time, a 4‑day week or job‑share, senior flexibility is built into the organisation’s culture — not treated as an exception.
✔ A balanced, supportive environment – Join high‑calibre professionals who value collaboration, intellectual challenge and shared purpose, not hierarchy or competition.
✔ Strong overall package: an excellent six-figure base salary, performance‑related bonus, 25 days' holiday, increasing with service, hybrid working and autonomy over how you deliver – part-time and flexible working patterns are also considered.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and advise on high‑profile corporate finance projects tied to major public assets and interventions.
  • Provide confident, strategic insight on valuations, transactions, governance and financial performance.
  • Work alongside senior leaders, boards and external advisers, operating as a trusted expert.
  • Mentor colleagues and shape the delivery of analytical, commercial and strategic workstreams.
Who This Suits

You might currently be in:
  • Corporate Finance (Big 4 or mid‑tier) – Currently at Senior Manager or AD level.
  • TS / Deal Advisory
  • M&A
  • Valuations
  • Investment / Strategy
  • Restructuring
And you’re ready for: ➡ More balance ➡ More purpose ➡ More influence ➡ Less deal fatigue
Public sector experience is not required — just sound judgement, strong analytical skills, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders.

If you'd like to know more about this unique opportunity, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
