Your new role

A public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Contract Management professional to support the delivery, maintenance and accuracy of their newly developed contract management system. This is an excellent interim opportunity for an individual with strong analytical, organisational and data‑focused skills, who can work independently with minimal supervision.
You will play a key role in ensuring compliant, accurate and complete contract data is captured and recorded, supporting the organisation’s governance standards and improving visibility across their contract portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture, collate and input detailed contract information into the contract management system
  • Ensure compliance with internal contract management policies and frameworks
  • Apply strong working knowledge of contract management best practice (awareness of the Procurement Act 2023 desirable)
  • Maintain and update relevant contract notices in Contract Finder and the Find a Tender Service (FATS)
  • Assist with the publication of tender and award notices across relevant portals
  • Work with high‑volume datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all records
  • Provide support to the wider procurement and contract management team as needed


What you'll need to succeed

  • Practical experience within contract management, particularly within the public sector or a regulated environment

  • Strong understanding of contract management processes and systems

  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets

  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently as a self‑starter.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively

  • Confident in managing accurate data entry and maintaining compliance‑focused documentation
