Employee-Owned. Future-Focused. Are You Our Next Contracts Manager?

Build Your Legacy in Civil Engineering

£65,000–£75,000 + Employee Ownership Trust + Leadership Pathway Kent/Sussex/Surrey | Permanent

This isn’t just another Contracts Manager role, it’s your chance to step into a business where you’re not just a number, you’re a future leader. We’ve partnered exclusively with a respected, family-run civil engineering firm that’s quietly delivering some of the South East’s most impactful infrastructure projects. With values rooted in trust, loyalty, and long-term thinking, they’re looking for someone who wants more than a job — they want a legacy.

You’ll be joining a company where ownership isn’t just a concept — it’s a reality. Through their Employee Ownership Trust, every team member has a stake in the business. And with projects reaching up to £10 million across water, highways, and local authority sectors, you’ll be at the heart of meaningful work that shapes communities.
As Contracts Manager, you’ll be the go-to person when things get complex — the one who checks the numbers, steadies the ship, and keeps delivery sharp. You’ll lead from the front, support site teams, and ensure that safety, quality, and commercial performance are never compromised. It’s a role for someone who thrives on responsibility and is ready to grow into directorship.

What you'll need to succeed is a proven history within the civil engineering and ground works industry as Contracts Manager within the UK highways, water utility or infrastructure sector. You will hold a civil engineering qualification from a UK college or university, CSCS, have excellent communication skills and be IT Literate.
