Specialist building contractor who operate across East Anglia and Lincolnshire working on Historical Buildings as well as commercial contracts. They pride themselves on being a people centric business where they support and develop staff to create an enjoyable working environment.

Your new role

They are now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team, based at our head office. This is a dynamic role involving regular travel to sites under your management, working closely with Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers, Clients, and Subcontractors to ensure each project meets its contractual specifications.

You’ll play a key role in internal project reviews and client progress meetings, helping to drive successful outcomes across multiple contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders to maintain progress and resolve issues.
  • Attend and contribute to internal and client-facing meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to contract specifications and project timelines.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience managing multiple construction contracts.

  • Strong prioritisation and organisational skills.

  • In-depth understanding of labour and trades, ideally within the restoration sector.

  • High level of numeracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and IT capabilities.

  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Effective conflict resolution and decision-making abilities.

  • Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management.

  • Experience in coaching and developing team members.
