Contracts Manager required County Down for a leading fit out Contractor.

Hays Belfast are recruiting a Contracts Manager on behalf of a leading & expanding specialist joinery and interior fit out contractor based in County Down. Your new role

As Contracts Manager, you will be an important part of the contractual management team with a variety of responsibilities while ensuring the successful delivery of the contract.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Preparing contract budget
  • Chairing a weekly project status review meeting
  • Weekly reporting on project progress
  • Managing subcontractors
  • Managing site installations
  • Managing all aspects of contracts while working alongside the commercial department
  • Adhering to company KPI targets set
  • The preparation of the contract budget
  • Communicating with senior management, project employees and the client
  • Working on projects in numerous locations throughout the world

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a good understanding and at least 3 years’ experience of working within the construction / fit out at a similar level. You will be able to demonstrate the ability of successfully managing the delivery of a project or contract from inception to handover. Being able to work of your own initiative while showcasing your leadership and communication skills to achieve the best results possible. A proficient knowledge and ability to use Microsoft applications, particularly Microsoft Excel is essential.
