Contracts Assistant / Contracts Officer / Contracts Coordinator
A 3-month temporary assignment working for this successful and empowering Cambridge-based organisation. With an immediate start available, there is scope for extension. The role offers extremely flexible working arrangements and a need to be in the office just 1-2 days per week to suit.
Working as part of a busy procurement function who have recently moved to a new contract management system, this role will take ownership of the transfer of contractual information to the new system, updating the contract management database and liaising with stakeholders/suppliers where required. You will be working alongside Contract Managers and Procurement professionals who are readily available to offer support and advice if needed however, it is anticipated that close supervision is not needed for this position.
Previous experience of working with a large number of contracts is preferred, whether in a procurement, contract management, legal or commercial setting, with an understanding/working knowledge of procurement beneficial but again not essential. To succeed in this role, you will have a high attention to detail, be methodical and organised in your work and be IT-literate. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required with the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction a pre-requisite.
